In gilt bronze, the obverse depicting a rightward facing bust of Carl Friedrich, circumscribed by his name and title, the reverse inscribed In Treue Fest 1849 in block lettering, maker marked Voigt for Voigt Stempelschneider, Berlin below the bust of Carl Friedrich, measuring 31.57 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in overall near very fine condition.
