An exquisite qualift manufacture example of a 1908-1918 issue Order of Henry the Lion Officer’s Cross (Herzoglich Braunschweigischer Orden Heinrichs des Löwen); a silver gilt Maltese cross with blue enameled arms; the obverse with a center red enameled medallion depicting a jumping Hannoverian horese infront of a pillar, surrounded by a gold ring topped by a golden crown; the reverse plain, with a central medallion inscribed “F. Siebrecht - Hof - Juwilier - Braunschweig”, with a vertical pinback and a functional hinge/catch assembly; measuring 57.86 mm x 57.68 mm; weighing 20.4 grams; an extremely fine quality example in virtually mint condition.
