Braunschweig, Dukedom. An Order of Henry the Lion, II Class Honor Medal

(Orden Heinrich des Löwen, Ehrenzeichen II. Klasse). Instituted on 25 April 1834 by Duke Wilhelm. (1903-1918 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central monogram of Duke Wilhelm inside of an oak wreath, the reverse with an inscription of “IMMOTA FIDES” (“UNSHAKABLY FAITHFUL”) above oak leaf branches, unmarked, measuring 31.14 mm in diameter, weighing 14.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in better than very fine condition.
