Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing finely-detailed profiles of Duke Ernst August and Duchess Viktoria Luise, circumscribed by names and titles, the reverse with an inscription of “ZUM ANDENKEN AN DIE THRONBESTEIGUNG DES HERZOG PAARES 1913” (“IN COMMEMORATION OF THE CORONATION OF THE DUCAL COUPLE 1913”), the edge marked “SILBER” with a content number of “990”, measuring 35.51 mm in diameter, weighing 16.3 grams, in extremely fine condition.
