Your entered maximum bid will not be disclosed to the seller or other auction participants at any point.

Max bidding example:

If the current auction price is $100 dollars and you place a maximum bid of $120 dollars, the system will bid $101 dollars on your behalf.

If no other participant places a bid, you win that auction lot for $101 dollars.

A First War Hannoverian Commemorative War Medal - Bronze, obverse illustrating a galloping horse with a branch of three oak leaves above and the dates 1914/18 below inside the outline of a cross, reverse inscribed "NIEDER SACHSENS SOHNEN DIE DANKBARE HEIMAT" (Grateful Fatherland to the Sons of Lower Saxony) inside an open-ended wreath of oak leaves, surrounded by the inscription "HANNOVERSCHER LANDES-KRIEGERVERBAND" (Hanover Military Association), 33.5 mm, original ribbon, small green oxidation spot on the reverse, extremely fine. Applicants had to present military papers proving their war experience to Association authorities, who issued an award document upon approval. As per other Weimar-era badges, the medal had to be privately purchased by the veterans themselves.
