A round medal constructed of bronze; the obverse depicting the leftward facing bust of Georg of Hannover, circumscribed by his name and title; the reverse inscribed “LANGENSALZA 27. JUNI 1866”, surrounded by an open-ended laurel wreath tied together at the base; on a double loop for suspension; measuring 35.96 mm in diameter; weighing 26.0 grams; in overall very fine condition.
