A Prussian-Lippian medal bar with four medals, awards, and decorations, consisting of 1) An Iron Cross 1914 Second Class (Eisernes Kreuz 1914 2. Klasse). A cross pattée of multi-piece construction with a blackened iron core (magnetic) within a ribbed border; the obverse with a raised central “W”, with the re-institution date “1914” in raised numbering on the lower arm, and the royal crown on the upper arm; the reverse with a central oak-leaf branch consisting of three oak leaves, with the original institution date “1813” in raised numbers on the lower arm, a raised Prussian crown on the upper arm, with “FW” in equally raised lettering directly below; measuring 43.11 mm (w) x 42.99 mm. 2) A A Lippe War Merit Cross (Kriegsverdienstkreuz); constructed of bronze gilt; the obverse depicting the Lippian rose within an open-ended laurel wreath - the twelve o’clock arm of the cross with a crowned cipher of Leopold, the six o’clock arm dated “1914”; the reverse inscribed “Für Auszeichnung im Kriege” (German - For Merit at War); measuring 40.83 mm (w) x 40.74 mm (h). 3) German Honour Remembrance Medal of the World War; constructed of copperwash bronze; the obverse depicting a German soldier receiving an oak wreath crown from a Godess; the reverse depicting an Iron Cross 1914, circumscribed “Fürs Vaterland” and an oak wreath; measuring 32.49 mm (w) x 36.24 mm (h). 4) A Prussian Reserve and Territoria Army Service Award, Second Class; constructed of silvered copper; the obverse depicting the royal crown, circumscribed “Treue Dienste - Reserve Landwehr”; the obverse inscribed “Landwehr Dienstauszeichnung II. Klasse”; measuring 24.80 mm in diameter; the medal bar with a brass core and a horizontal pinback; measuring 100 mm (w) x 41 mm (h); in overall very fine condition.
