A round silver medal, the obverse depicting the right-facing bust of Friedrich Franz, circumscribed by FRIEDRICH FRANZ GROSSHERZOG VON MECKLENBURG, the reverse presents the royal crowned coat of arms, circumscribed by PER ASPERA AD ASTRA, maker marked below bust of Friedrich with W. KULLRICH on rim of medal, measuring 29.22 mm in diameter, on ring for suspension from period original ribbon for honourable deeds, and in very fine condition
