A black metal (magnetic) cross; the obverse with the Schleswig-Holstein coat of arms, and the arms of the cross dated “1848-1849”; the reverse plain; on a double loop for suspension; on a faded period original ribbon; measuring 29.15 mm (w) x 28.93 mm (h); weighing 8.4 grams; in overall near very fine condition.
