Constructed of blackened magnetic iron, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with a central coat of arms of Schleswig-Holstein, flanked by dates “1848-1849”, unmarked, measuring 28.67 mm (w) x 33.00 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
