What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

(Jerusalem Erinnerungskreuz) Instituted 31 October 1898. A Jerusalem cross paty constructed of bronze and red enamel, with four plain crosslets in the quadrants between the arms, the centre bears a royal crown with fringes, below is the cipher “IR” (Imperator Rex) and below that is the cipher “W II” (Wilhelm II), on a rayed background, the reverse centre bears an “X” (for October), and the date “XXXI MD CCC IIC” (31 1898), on a pebbled background, with an ornate suspension at the top on a red ribbon, measuring 37.33 mm (w) x 45.74 mm (h), very fine.
