(Landwehr Dienstauszeichnung). Instituted 16 January 1842. (1842-1913 issue). Constructed of magnetic metal with multi-coloured embroidery, the reverse with a barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 46 mm (w) x 20 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
