(Preußische Roter Adlerorden III. Klasse Miniatur). Instituted 12 June 1792 by King Frederick William II of Prussia. (1854-1918 Issue). Composed of a silver gilt Cross Patté with white enameled arms, the obverse with a circular enameled medallion depicting an enameled Brandenburg crowned eagle, the reverse with white enameled arms and a white enameled central medallion depicting the crowned cipher of King Frederick William III, unmarked, on loop for suspension, measuring 16.65 mm (w) x 18.98 mm (h), weighing 2.2 grams, minor flecking of the enamels and wear of the gilt, in otherwise near extremely fine condition.
