A near mint example in bronze gilt with blue enamels, maker marked "ZEHN" on the edge between the left and bottom arms, measuring 42.5 mm, original independent ribbon, intact enamels, very light contact, near mint. In its hardshelled case of issue, cypher of Kaiser Wilhelm I on the lid, recessed medal bed, scuffing and edge wear evident on the exterior, ghosted yellowing on the inside lid where the maker's label once resided, case better than very fine, in its cardboard carton of issue, labelled "Königlicher Kronen=Orden / 4. Klasse." on the lid, slight creasing, carton extremely fine.
