An 1870 Period Pour-le-Merite, in Gold and Enamels, 54.2mm(width) x 54.1mm(height), hollow, with one went hole at the bottom, weighs 15.4 grams, unmarked, but typical cross by Wagner from circa 1870 period, very slight enamel flaking on reverse center, in slightly worn condition; with long neck ribbon, of later period manufacture. An excellent example.
