Germany, Imperial. A Prussian Pilot’s Badge in Silver, by C.E. Juncker
                (Preussisches Flugzeugführerabzeichen). In hollow silver, the obverse with a central monoplane flying over a rural landscape, inside an oval oak and laurel leaf wreath, tied together by a bow at the bottom, adorned by a German State Crown at the top, the reverse plain, with a vertical pinback, a barrel hinge, a round wire catch, and a breather hole directly below the catch, marked “C.E. Juncker, Berlin” with a crescent moon and “800” silver marking on the reverse, measuring 45.66 mm (w) x 70.99 mm (h), weighing 29.9 grams, in extremely fine condition.
