What's a max bid?

Your maximum bid should be the highest amount you're willing to pay for an item.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A group of four Prussian decorations, including a General Honour Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing an inscription of “VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT” (“SERVICE TO THE STATE) inside of a laurel leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a monogram of Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm III topped by a royal crown, unmarked, measuring 39.21 mm in diameter, weighing 22.3 grams, in very fine condition; a Landwehr Service Medal, II Class, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 24.96 mm in diameter, weighing 8.7 grams, in near extremely fine condition; a A Friedrich Wilhelm III Military Long Service Award, II Class, constructed of magnetic metal, set on its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 45 mm (w) x 15 mm (h), in very fine condition, and; a Friedrich Wilhelm IV Landwehr Long Service Award, II Class, constructed of blackened magnetic metal with machine embroidery, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 46 mm (w) x 16 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
