(Miniaturen). A miniature ribbon bar with two decorations, including a War Merit Medal of 1870/71 (Kriegsdenkmünze), constructed of bronze, the obverse shows the crowned royal cypher of Wilhelm I over the inscription Dem siegreichen Heere (To the victorious army), inscribed around the edge is Gott war mit uns, Ihm sei die Ehre (God was with us, to Him be the Glory), the reverse shows an Iron Cross with rays extending from between the arms, at the centre of the cross is a laurel wreath and the dates 1870 1871, measuring 14.92 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, bearing clasps for GRAVELOTTE-ST.PRIVAT, BEAUMONT, SEDAN, and PARIS, and in near very fine condition. A Reserve Long Service Decoration, II Class Bar (Landwehr Dienstauszeichnungen), in gilded bronze and blue enamel, bearing the inscription FW IV (F. WILHELM IV), measuring 15.84 (w) x 13.22 mm (h), on period original ribbon, and in very fine condition. Both decorations mounted to a medal bar with horizontal pinback.
