(Roter Adler Orden, IV. Klasse Miniatur). Instituted 12 June 1792 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II (IV Class instituted 18 January 1830 by King Friedrich Wilhelm III). (1861-1918 issue). Constructed of silver with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with ribbed arms, the obverse bearing a central white enameled medallion overlaid by a hand-painted Hohenzollern-style imperial eagle, the reverse bearing a central wwhite enameled medallion overlaid by a gilt monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm II, unmarked, measuring 15.57 mm (w) x 17.76 mm (h), weighing 1.7 grams, very fine.
