A gilded silver Maltese cross, enamelled in blue, with golden-crowned black-enamelled eagle between the arms of the cross, the obverse centre presents a gilt medallion bearing the royal monogram of Friedrich I (FR for Fredericus Rex), the reverse presents blue enamelled cross arms and the eagles’ reverses, measuring 82.78 mm (w) x 83.50 mm (h), weighing 73.6 grams, presenting moderate loss of enamel on eagles, and in overall better than very fine condition.
