What's a max bid?

All bids are subject to a Buyer's Premium which is in addition to the placed successful bid. The following rate of Buyer's Premium will be added to the Hammer Price of each Lot that you purchase:

A Rare Prussian Order of the Crown; Third Class with Swords “am Ring”

Cross in Gold and enamels, 42.7mm x 53.2mm, bottom arm marked “W” (for Wagner, Berlin), with Swords attached to ring, of excellent quality manufacture, in pristine condition, virtually mint; in case of issue (near mint); and also outer cartonage. A very rare cross, top quality and condition. Footnote: this type of cross with Swords “am Ring” was given to recipients of the 3d class who were already holders of the 4th class with Swords; as the 4th class had to be returned to the Order Chancellery, the recipient was allowed to have Swords attached to the ring of the higher Class of the Order.
