A fine example of a 1867-1918 issue Prussian Royal Order of the Crown Fourth Class (Königliche Kronen-Orden IV. Klasse); a gilt bronze, cross pattée with stippled arms; the obverse with a circular central medallion depicting the Royal Prussian crown, surrounded by a light blue enameled ring, inscribed “Gott Mit Uns" (German- God with Us) in gilt lettering; the reverse with a circular central medallion depicting the royal cipher of King William I, surrounded by a light blue enameled ring, inscribed “Den 18 October 1861) (German - the 18th of October 1861); marked (engraved) W.K." between the arms; measuring 43.0 mm x 43.2 mm; slight enamel chipping on obverse, in overall extremely fine
