A gilt bronze cross patte with stippled arms; the obverse with a circular central medallion depicting the Royal Prussian crown, surrounded by a light blue enameled ring, inscribed “Gott Mit Uns" (German- God with Us) in gilt lettering; the reverse with a circular central medallion depicting the royal cipher of King William I, surrounded by a light blue enameled ring, inscribed “Den 18 October 1861) (German - the 18th of October 1861); with a correct replacement ribbon; measuring 41.22 mm (w) x 40.86 mm (h); weighing 14.0 grams; in overall better than very fine condition.
