(Königliche Kronen-Orden III). Instituted on 18 October 1861 by King Wilhelm I. (Issued 1866-1918). A silver gilt cross pattée with white enameled arms, the obverse with a circular central medallion depicting the Royal Prussian crown, surrounded by a light blue enameled ring, inscribed “Gott Mit Uns" (“God with Us”) in gilt lettering, the reverse with a circular central medallion depicting the royal cipher of King Wilhelm I, surrounded by a light blue enameled ring, inscribed “Den 18 October 1861" (“The 18th of October 1861”), on a period original peacetime ribbon, measuring 43.18 mm (w) x 47.59 mm (h), weighs 11.4 grams, and in overall near extremely fine condition.
