A fine quality manufacture complete set of a Prussian House Order of Hohenzollern - Knight’s Cross with Swords; with its miniature, boutonniere, and original case of issue; the order crafted in silver gilt (marked with the moon crescent, crown and “937” for silver content) and extremely well preserved blue, green, black, and white enamels; with a crown suspension; maker marked “S & W” (Sy & Wagner, Berlin) on the lower arm; with its near mint period-original ribbon; measuring 57.00 mm x 38.18 mm (inclusive of its crown suspension); weighing 24.2 grams. The miniature in gilt and equally well preserved blue, green, black, and white enamels; with a triple loop suspension; with a mint correct replacement ribbon; measuring 21.06 mm x 14.94 mm; weighing approximately 4.2 grams; the boutonniere gilded with its period-original ribbon; the original case of issue constructed of heavy pressed paper with a textured black faux leather (leatherette) exterior; with a recessed burgundy medal bed featuring a small black and white photograph - possibly the bearer of the award; functional push-button; intact hinge; measuring 84 mm x 69 mm; overall better than extremely fine condition.
