Prussia, Kingdom. A House Order of Hohenzollern, Member’s Badge, with 50-Year Clasp
                (Hausorden von Hohenzollern, Adler der Inhaber mit Jubiläumszahl “50”). Instituted 5 December 1841 by Prince Konstantin of Hohenzollern-Hechingen and Prince Karl Anton of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen. (Issued 1863-1918). Constructed of silver with multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Prussian imperial eagle clutching an orb and sceptre, overlaid with stylized oak leaves and a shield of black and white enamels, with its head circumscribed by a raised inscription featuring the Order motto “VOM FELS ZUM MEER” (“FROM THE CLIFFS TO THE SEA”)”, on a loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, measuring 33.55 mm (w) x 35.01 mm (h), weighing 12.7 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
