Issued 1914-1918; a bronze cross pattee; the obverse circumscribed “Zur See Unbesiegt Im Felde” (Undefeated in the See) with an anchor in the centre, surrounded by an oak wreath and crossed swords; the reverse bears the Prussian naval flag, circumscribed “Marine Korps”, and “1914/18”; on a loop for suspension; measuring 44.57 mm (w) x 40.07 mm (h); weighing 23.5 grams; in overall very fine condition.
