Constructed of gilt bronze; the obverse depicting a leftward facing Prussian eagle, circumscribed “Preußischer Landeskriegerverband” (Prussian Veteran’s Association); the reverse depicting the Kyffhäuser memorial with the numeral “50”; on a loop for suspension from a long period original ribbon that is attached to a bronze spring-loaded clip; measuring 50.21 mm (w) x 67.27 mm (h); weighing 69.6 grams; in overall very fine condition.
