An extremely fine quality manufacture wartime miniature Pour le Mérite boutonnière; the miniature delicately made in gold and blue enamels; measuring 15.00 mm (w) x 15.55 mm (h); suspended from a period boutonnière crafted in gilded bronze with a period original bowtie ribbon; maker marked “Deutscher Offizier Verein” on the reverse; in extremely fine condition.
