Prussia, Kingdom. A Cross of Honour of the Prussian Landes-Kriegerverband & Miniature
An iron cross paty constructed of silver plated bronze, the obverse centre bears the inscription “Für Verdienst im kriegervereins wesen” (For merit in the warrior association), the ornate letters “P” “L” “K” and “V” lay in the quadrants between the cross arms, the reverse centre bears the image of the Kyffhäuser monument with rays in the background, the same letters lay in the quadrants between the cross arms, with suspension loop on a white and black striped bow with horizontal pinback, marked “H. TIMM BERLIN”, measuring 44.09 mm (w) x 50.45 mm (h); accompanied by a miniature measuring 16.23 mm (w) x 18.43 mm (h), both very fine.
