(Erinnerungs-Kriegsdenkmünze 1863 für Kämpfer von 1813-1815). Instituted 17 March 1863. (1863 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised leftward-facing profile of King Friedrich Wilhelm III, circumscribed by name and title, above a banner bearing dates “1813-1814-1815”, the reverse with a central monogram of King Wilhelm I (later Kaiser Wilhelm I), topped by an inscription of “DEN 17 MÄRZ 1863” and above laurel and oak leaf branches, unmarked, measuring 29.00 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
