(Roter Adlerorden Medaille). Instituted 12 June 1792. (1871-1918 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised depiction of the Order of the Red Eagle, the reverse with a monogram of Kaiser Wilhelm, unmarked, measuring 24.88 mm in diameter, weighing 9.6 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
