Reuss, Principality. A Medal for Faithful War Service
(Medaille für treues Wirken in eiserner Zeit). Instituted on 10 November 1915. A circular bronze medal, the obverse centre presents the royal cipher of Furst Heinrich XXVII, the reverse centre presents the inscription FÜR TREUESWIRKEN IN EISERNERZEIT 1914 within a wreath of oak leaves, measuring 32.70 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in near very fine condition.
