A bronze circular medal, the obverse centre presents the right-facing bust of Duke Ernst I of Saxony-Altenburg, the reverse centre presents the inscription ERNST HERZOG VON SACHSEN ALTENBURG 3.AUGUST.1903, measuring 32.66 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition.
