Constructed of bronze, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Duke Carl Eduard, circumscribed by name and title and topped by a royal crown, the reverse with the Saxe-Coburg and Gotha coat of arms topped by inscription of “FUER VERDIENST” (“FOR SERVICE”), measuring 32 mm (w) x 52 mm (h), in better than very fine condition.
