Constructed of silver, the obverse with leftward-facing profiles of Grand Duke Carl Alexander and Grand Duchess Sofia, the reverse with raised coats of arms of Saxe-Weimar and Eisenach and the House of Orange-Nassau, above a banner bearing dates “8. October 1842-1892”, maker marked on both the obverse and reverse “G. LOOS”, measuring 50.08 mm in diameter, weighing 60.0 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
