Saxony, Kingdom. A Medal for Loyalty in Labour
(Medaille für Treue in der Arbeit). Instituted 10 August 1894 by King Albert. (1904-1918 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised rightward-facing profile of King Friedrich August III, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of “FÜR TREUE IN DER ARBEIT” (“FOR LOYALTY IN LABOUR”), within a circular oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 27.92 mm in diameter, weighing 12.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
