(Silberne Medaille für Lebensrettung). Instituted 18 May 1831 by King Anton. (1874-1902 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised rightward-facing profile of King Albert, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR LEBENSRETTUNG” (“FOR LIFESAVING”), within an oak leaf wreath, the obverse maker marked “M. BARDULECK”, measuring 35.54 mm in diameter, weighing 20.6 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
