(Ehrenkreuz für freiwillige Wohlfahrtspflege im Kriege). Constructed of gilded bronze with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central raised monogram of King Albert of Saxony, within a blue enameled ring, the reverse with central raised dates “1914-1915”, with a laurel and oak leaf wreath through the quadrants, unmarked, measuring 27.81 mm (w) x 32.75 mm (h), weighing 9.6 grams, in extremely fine condition.
