What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A pair of Saxon medals, including a Saxe-Coburg and Gotha Saxe-Ernestine House Order Medal, constructed of gilded silver, the obverse bearing a raised leftward-facing profile of Duke Alfred, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a raised Saxe-Ernestine House Order circumscribed by an order motto of “FIDELITER ET CONSTANTER” (“FAITHFUL AND STEADFAST”), the edge marked with a silver content number of “990”, measuring 30.46 mm in diameter, weighing 14.6 grams, missing its suspension loop and with some loss of finish evident, in fair condition, and; a Saxe-Weimar-Eisenach 1914 Merit Medal, constructed of zink, the obverse bearing a raised leftward-facing profile of Grand Duke Wilhelm Ernst, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse bearing a central inscription of “DEM VERDIENSTE 1914” (“FOR MERIT 1914”) within circular oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 36.10 mm in diameter, weighing 16.9 grams, missing its suspension loop and with loss of finish throughout, in fair condition.
