Saxony, Kingdom. A 15-Year Long Service Medal in Silver

(Dienstauszeichnung für 15 Jahre Silberne Medaille). Instituted 24 December 1831 by King Anton and Regent Friedrich August II. (1868-1874 issue). Constructed of silver, the obverse bearing a wreathed combined monogram of King Anton and Regent Friedrich August II, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR LANGE U. GUTE DIENSTE” (“FOR LONG AND EXCELLENT SERVICE”), within a border of stylized oak leaves, unmarked, measuring 28.90 mm in diameter, weighing 11.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
