Saxony, Kingdom. A Commemorative Cross of 1863/1864

(Erinnerungskreuz 1863/1864). Instituted 8 August 1890 by King Albert. (1890 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central wreathed monogram of King Albert, the reverse with central wreathed dates “1863-1864”, unmarked, measuring 33.48 mm (w) x 37.94 mm (h), weighing 12.2 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
