Saxony, Kingdom. A Long Service Medal, II Class for 15 Years, c.1890

(Dienstauszeichnung II. Klasse für 15 Jahre). Instituted 23 April 1874 by King Albert. (1874-1913 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with combined monograms of King Albert and Regent Friedrich August, within a laurel and oak leaf wreath, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR LANGE U. GUTE DIENSTE” (“FOR LONG AND GOOD SERVICE”), within a stylized oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 29.06 mm in diameter, weighing 11.4 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
