Saxony, Kingdom. A Medal for Faithful Labour, c.1900
(Medaille für Treue in der Arbeit). Instituted 10 August 1894 by King Albert of Saxony. (1894-1902 issue). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised rightward-facing profile of King Albert, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with a central inscription of “FÜR TREUE IN DER ARBEIT” (“FOR FAITHFUL LABOUR”), within an oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 27.92 mm in diameter, weighing 14.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in very fine condition.
