A pair of Saxon long service medals, including a Medal for Long Service, II Class for 12 Years, constructed of gilded neusilber, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central wreathed monogram of King Friedrich August III, circumscribed by an inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE BEI DER FAHNE” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE FLAG”), the reverse with a number “12” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 30.12 mm in diameter, weighing 15.1 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a Landwehr Long Service Medal, II Class, constructed of gilded tombak, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central monogram of King Friedrich August III, circumscribed by an inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE RESERVE LANDWEHR” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE LANDWEHR RESERVE”), the reverse with an inscription of “LANDWEHR DIENSTAUSZEICHNUNG II. KLASSE” (“LANDWEHR LONG SERVICE MEDAL II CLASS”), unmarked, measuring 25.08 mm in diameter, weighing 8.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
