A pair of long service medals, including a Long Service Medal, III Class for 9 Years, constructed of neusilber, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central monogram of King Friedrich August III, circumscribed by an inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE BEI DER FAHNE” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE FLAG”), the reverse with a number “9” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 30.07 mm in diameter, weighing 13.1 grams, in near extremely fine condition, and; a Long Service Medal, II Class for 12 Years, constructed of bronzed neusilber, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central monogram of King Friedrich August III, circumscribed by an inscription of “TREUE DIENSTE BEI DER FAHNE” (“FAITHFUL SERVICE TO THE FLAG”), the reverse with a number “12” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 29.93 mm in diameter, weighing 12.4 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
