What's a max bid?

If another auction participant places a bid of $110 dollars, the system will subsequently place a bid of $111 dollars on your behalf. The system will continue to bid in $1.00 dollar increments until your maximum bid of $120 dollars is exceeded.

If another auction participant places a bid for $125 dollars, the auction lot price will display $121 dollars having exceeded your previously submitted maximum bid by $1.00 dollar.

A lot of service medals, including a 10-Year Long Service Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with combined monograms of King Anton and Regent Friedrich August II, within a laurel and oak leaf wreath, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR LANGE U. TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR LONG AND FAITHFUL SERVICE”), within a ring of stylized oak leaves, unmarked, measuring 29.29 mm in diameter, weighing 14.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition, and; a Friedrich August Medal, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central monogram of King Friedrich August III, within a laurel leaf wreath, the reverse with a central inscription of “FRIEDRICH AUGUST MEDAILLE”, within a ring of stylized oak leaves, unmarked, measuring 27.50 mm in diameter, weighing 10.4 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
