Saxony, Kingdom. A Silver Marksmanship Medal, by Max Barduleck
(Schützenabzeichen in Silber). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised rightward-facing profile of King Albert of Saxony, circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with a central inscription of “DEM BESTEN SCHÜTZEN” (“TO THE BEST MARKSMEN”), within an oak leaf wreath, the obverse maker marked “M. BARDULECK”, measuring 41.61 mm in diameter, weighing 44.4 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.
