1876-1909 Issue. (Albrechtsorden Albrechtskreuz). A Latin cross; the obverse with a central medallion bearing the leftward facing bust of Herzog Albrecht, surrounded by a ring inscribed “Albertus Animous” (Latin - Albert the Merciful), along with arabesques towards the bottom of the ring, the reverse with a with a crowned royal coat of arms surrounded by a ring, dated “1850”, along with arabesques; on a loop for suspension from its period original ribbon; measuring 33.91 mm (w) x 45.75 mm (h); weighing 19.5 grams; in overall better than extremely fine condition.
