Württemberg, Kingdom. A Wilhelm Cross with Swords
                (Wilhelmskreuz).Instituted on 13 September 1915. A bronze Rupert cross paty, the obverse centre bears the cipher of King WIlhelm II within an oak leaf wreath, the 12 o’clock arm bears the imperial crown, the 6 o’clock arm bears the date “1915”, the reverse centre presents the inscription “KRIEGSVERDIENST” within a circular oak wreath border, two upwards facing crossed swords lay between the arms, measuring 44.49 mm (w) x 48.75 mm (h), with suspension loop on a yellow ribbon with black stripes, very fine.
